Barry Island Pleasure Park in Wales is set for its biggest summer yet, with park owner Henry Danter confirming the arrival of several new attractions, including a brand-new roller coaster and a long-awaited upgrade to a theme park classic.

Paultons Park has released a first look at its most ambitious project to date, Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, a new £12 million themed land set to open on May 16, 2026.

In a major win for Devon tourism, the Trago Family Fun Park in Newton Abbot is set to reopen this Easter. Following its sudden closure in late 2025, the local park has been thrown a lifeline by South West-based leisure experts, Play Leisure Services.
